Muslim Site Apologizes for Violence
According to this Norway newspaper article, some apparently moderate Muslim groups have set up a site in which they apologize for the violence other Muslims have committed over the Danish cartoons.

I'm not of the opinion that peaceful Muslims need to apologize for themselves or their religion. I don't think anyone should have to apologize for actions taken be others who happen to share their religion, ethnicity, race, etc. I get the feeling sometimes that people think I need to apologize for the actions of insane Islamists because I happen to be half Arab, even though I'm not even Muslim.
That said, I'm glad to see Muslims condemning violence. As the creators of that site indicated, peaceful people can sometimes be drowned out by a few loud fanatics.
I agree Aladdin, peaceful muslims have no reason to apologise but it is good to see them speaking out and condeming the violence.
